Active Directory Domain Name Service (DNS)

Provides DNS services to the ad.wsu.edu domain, including dynamic registration of domain joined systems for A and AAAA records.

Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)

This service includes the following sub-services: LDAP, Authentication and Authorization, DFS, DFS-R, Group Policy, NTP, Computer Domain Join, AD Integrated BitLocker, LAPS.

Learning Management System to deliver course content electronically.

Global Protect VPN

Join the WSU network from anywhere in the world. The WSU VPN places your computer within WSU's network, giving your device a WSU IP address and access to private WSU resources including the Libraries and paid publications.

Incident Response

Service that allows the Information Security Services team members to identify, respond to, and report a data security concern.

Kamiak/HPC

The Kamiak cluster consists of a collection of cutting edge computers, or nodes, all connected by a high speed local network.

Managed Account Request Form

In Office 365, a Departmental Account is now created as a Shared Mailbox with one primary owner (this is the requestor by default, unless otherwise specified). Once the Shared Mailbox is created, it will automatically appear as an additional mailbox in Outlook. There is no longer a need for a password.

Microsoft Teams offers a modern group workspace within Office 365 that includes tools and content targeted for teams of people working towards a common goal or purpose.

OneDrive for Business is a cloud service for all active students, faculty and staff associated with their WSU Network ID, where you can store, share, and sync your files. You can update and share your files from any device with OneDrive for Business.

SharePoint Online is a web platform that can be used to store, organize, share, and access information from any device.

Third Party Access

Students can share their official WSU records with a parent or another trusted individual by setting up Third Party Access in myWSU.

Can be requested at CUB Info Desk or Visitors Center.

WSU Wireless (SSID)

Access to WSU wireless network (available across multiple campuses).

Zoom helps consolidate communications, connect people, and collaborate better together whether for academics or meetings. Features include cloud recording and retention, persistent chat, whiteboarding, breakout rooms, polls, Q&A, post-meeting surveys, and special licenses for events and webinars.
